Sushi Samurai Brand Identity

Overview

Sushi Samurai Kappo is a reservation-only Japanese kappo restaurant where Chef A-Zhong creates personalized dining experiences based on seasonal ingredients, customer preferences, and budget.

The project focused on building a contemporary brand identity system that reflects the restaurant’s craftsmanship, precision, and refined dining atmosphere.

Design Concept

Built upon a minimal black-and-white visual language, the identity incorporates calligraphy-inspired branding elements to express the rhythm and craftsmanship associated with Japanese dining culture.

The system extends across tactile brand applications including thick-stock business cards, textured print materials, custom noren curtains, and tailored uniforms, creating a refined and cohesive dining experience through material and visual consistency.
